Welcome Alaina Grace

Join us in welcoming Alaina Grace to the Royal Team! Alaina joins our Baton Rouge team as a Project Scientist. She has 15+ years of experience facilitating, coordinating, and managing large-scale technical teams and efforts focused on coastal Louisiana restoration science and planning. Alaina aided in the development of the 2007, 2012, and 2017 Coastal Master Plans, the RESTORE Act Center of Excellence for Louisiana, the Mississippi River Hydrodynamic and Delta Management Study (MRHDM), the Louisiana Coastal Area Science and Technology Program, and the Coastal Louisiana Ecosystem Assessment and Restoration (CLEAR) Program. She has extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and editing technical memorandums, reports, and peer-reviewed publications across a broad spectrum of topics, including integrated coastal protection and restoration planning. Alaina earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nicholls State University and her Master of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. At Royal, she will contribute to a variety of coastal planning, adaptive management, and environmental compliance projects.
