Congratulations Dr. Mitch!

Our very own T. Mitchell “Mitch” Andrus, P.E. was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geology and Geophysics from LSU at this Spring’s virtual commencement. His dissertation, The Long-Term Outlook of the Mississippi-Atchafalaya Bifurcation: A Convergence of Engineering, Economics, and Deltaic Evolution, represents an eight year labor-of-love that he completed while also, among other things, successfully raising three kids (along with his wife Hallie), leading a non-profit to enhance the economic viability of his Church Point, LA community, and running the Royal Lafayette, LA office in his role as Executive Vice President. Dr. Andrus also holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences from LSU, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer (LA). He is a lifelong Louisianian whose passion for the coast has been a driving force behind his many accomplishments.

Please join us in congratulating Mitch on his momentous achievement!
